I’m Ian Parkinson, the founder of Koality Work — a home and commercial services brand built around craftsmanship, communication, and care. We serve homeowners throughout Iowa City, Coralville, North Liberty, Tiffin, and the surrounding areas with high-quality small project and contracting services that actually show up, follow through, and finish well.

I started Koality Work after experiencing what so many homeowners have: small projects left unfinished, unreturned calls, and a lack of pride in the work being done. After moving from Sydney to Iowa in 2016 and settling in Coralville in 2019, I saw a clear opportunity to build something better — a service people could rely on for the things that make a house feel like home.

Our team focuses on high-impact upgrades and repairs — things like strengthening decks, patching drywall, sealing concrete, replacing door hardware, or modernizing fixtures. Every project gets the same attention to detail, whether it’s handled by me or one of our trusted partners.

Behind the business, I’m a licensed Realtor with Blank & McCune, a proud member of the Iowa City Ducks Rugby Football Club, and a local homeowner myself. My wife Andrea runs her own business in fitness and wellness (Body by Dre), and our two lovable dogs, Kilo and Graham, allow us to live in their space.
